Remember that breastfeeding gets easier with practice and experience! Have a lactation counselor or labor and delivery nurse help you latch your baby onto your breast for your first feeding(s) and as often as you need while in the hospital. Confidence in breastfeeding will help you be successful, so get help if you feel like you need it; that’s what so many of us are here for- to help you succeed!

Use the "Positioning," and "Latch" tabs for step-by-step information and illustrations on these elements of breastfeeding.
