2021 Holiday Meals and Toy Drives Rock County

CHRISTMAS MEALS AND TOY/GIFT DISTRIBUTION

CHRISTMAS HAM DINNER BASKETS
Caritas will be giving out 300 Christmas Ham dinner baskets. In order to receive a meal, families
must have used the pantry twice this past year AND must be issued a ticket for a meal from
Caritas. Caritas will be handing out 20 meal tickets/day until they reach 300 meals. Meal
baskets will be available for pick up on December 22 nd and 23th. Times are yet to be
determined.
It’s not too late to qualify for a meal! Eligible families can use Caritas twice a month so you still
have time. If you have never been to Caritas just bring the following to their location and see if
you qualify:
1. Photo ID’s

2. Piece of mail within the last 30 days with your name and current address.
3. ID’s for any eligible family members, including kids. ID’s can include a birth
certificate, discharge summary from most recent doctor’s appointment, it just needs
to have child’s birthdate listed.
GIFTS FOR CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER
Caritas will also be handing out Santa Visit- gifts for children 12 and under. Families are eligible
if they have used Caritas services twice this year. Caritas staff will be discussing program with
families as they come to their facility.

CHRISTMAS DINNER
FREE DINNER OPEN TO ALL
ECHO provides a free Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day. Call ECHO at 608-754-5333 to sign
up for your meal. Meals can either be picked up at St Williams Church 1312 Ravine Street,
Janesville between 11am – 1pm on Christmas Day or you can have them delivered to your
home.

CHRISTMAS EVE MEAL (Delivered)
Sign up by calling 608-884-9593 by December 17th. Meals will be delivered starting at 11am on
Christmas Eve Day. Anyone living in Edgerton is eligible to have meals delivered.
CHRISTMAS DAY HAM BASKET
Must live in the Edgerton School district and meet income requirements. Call Edgerton
Community Outreach to see if you qualify 608-884-9593 by December 17 th . Meals will be
delivered starting at 11am on December 20 th .
CHRISTMAS GIFTS
For any families who have children from birth to high school age who live in the Edgerton
School district. Families must also meet income requirements. Call Edgerton Community
Outreach to see if you qualify 608-884-9593 by December 1 st . Distribution of gifts will start on
December 8 th .

EVANSVILLE LOCATIONS
AWARE in Evansville, Community Action – 608-882-9900
Holiday Toy Drive and Christmas Dinner
Aware provides toys, a clothing item and Christmas Dinner to families that live within the
Evansville Community School District and meet certain income guidelines. Registration for this
year is closed but families can contact Aware if there is a need and they will see what they can
do. Families are encouraged to join the AWARE in Evansville Facebook group as aware provides
several other events throughout the year.

MILTON LOCATIONS

Christmas Gift assistance.
Families who use the pantry are eligible for a gift card to help purchase gifts. Pre-registration is
required and runs from September to the first week in November. Registration closed for 2021.
