Nonbreastfeeding Mothers and Infants

The Postpartum Mom WIC package foods help you and your baby meet today’s nutrition needs as recommended by your health care provider. At six months of age your baby can receive infant food fruits, vegetables, and cereal.

This food package contains foods that:

  • are high in fiber and low in fat
  • provide good variety and a great nutritious balance of vitamins and minerals
  • follow Dietary Guidelines, MyPlate, and infant feeding recommendations


    • Iron-fortified cereal
    • $11.00 for approved fruit and/or vegetables: fresh, frozen or canned
    • Vitamin C-rich juice
    • Low-fat (1%) or fat-free (skim) milk
    • Dry or canned beans/peas or peanut butter
    • Eggs


  • Iron-fortified infant cereal 
  • Baby food fruits and vegetables 
  • Infant formula
